This is the second weekend in a row that Bob and I have attended weddings. This time, it was for my friend, Gretchen. The wedding was held at Holy Trinity Church (which, by the way, was where Jessica V. also got hitched at in May) and the reception was held at Stegton Regency. I haven’t been to too many weddings with themes, but apparently, Frank (the groom) is hooked on poker, so the theme was gambling. Absolutely great! The party favors were Scratchers and Bob won $7, lucky bastard! At times, the music choices pulled me back into the 80’s and 90’s, but really, who can go wrong with Ice, Ice, Baby and Baby Got Back. Classic!
Sidenote: We won Powerball!! Only $7, but we won! What a way to end the night. I tell you, this was definitely a great weekend for gambling!
