Monika and I have a tradition, every year we get together to bake cookies for our friends before Christmas. It started in high school and carried on through college and it’s still going on now. We pick out five or four or five kinds of cookies to bake, buy all the ingredients and begin our bake-a-thon into the wee hours of the morning. This time, we started around 1:30 in the afternoon and didn’t end until about 2:30 in the morning. Don’t we still look wonderful after all that baking?
So, this is what we baked this year:
Snickerdoodles
Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies
Sugar Cookies
Oatmeal Scotchies
Cappuchino Crinkles
Chocolate Chip Cookies (with multi-swirled chips)
I am finished with baking for the year, reached my quota. Poor Bob, he didn’t even get any snickerdoodles because I don’t keep any for myself, only the rejects. Really, I just can’t stand the sight of cookies after 13 hours of them.
Whoa, thats a lot of cookies!
You are the best friend’s-wife ever! Thanks for the cookies!
Thanks! That really means a lot to me. Enjoy!
Thanks for our cookies. They are yummy, not too many left :) The sugar cookies were my favorite!! Always a classic.
