Super-awesome graphic designer Art Chantry lectured tonight at UMSL in Gallery 210. He showed slides from his incredible career and spoke at length about his creative process. For those who are unfamiliar with Art Chantry, you can watch a video of his Pearls Are a Nuisance exhibition he had at the Philip Slein gallery last fall. His posters and CD / Vinyl packaging are known the world over.
Truly a great experience. Jen and I went along with my friend and coworker Patrick Shannon, who alerted me to this happening. Keep up the good work, Patrick! This show was super inspiring and made me happy to be involved in the creative process.
