For the past week and a half, I pretty much quarantined myself in the house because I caught the bug of the day and it pretty much wiped me out. Got sick last Wednesday (sore throat, fever, body aches), thought I was getting better on Friday but on Saturday came down the the runny/stuffy nose (depending on my mood) and this terrible cough that sounded like I was trying to hack up my lungs. This upper respiratory thing stuck with me all this week, lucky me. Fortunately, I had such a wonderful husband who doted on me and made sure I had everything I needed while I wasted away on the couch or in bed. Finally, I’m beginning to feel more like myself and Bob is thrilled. That means I won’t be waking him up in the middle of the night with my fits of coughing and gasping for water.
During my fight with this evil virus, my weapons of choice were: water for hydration, Tylenol Cough and Sore Throat, Tylenol Cold and Airborne.
I would definitely suggest going that route if you’re feeling a little bit under the weather. Even though it took me a while to fight it off the cold, it did alleviate some of the terribleness I felt.
