Supper Club: March 19, 2008

This week we had a little twist on the classic American meal: burger, fries and a banana split.

Entree: Buffalo Turkey Burgers with Blue Cheese Gravy
Please don’t think that we actually like Rachael Ray because we don’t; she is an annoying spazoid. Woman, use some real measurements! But I do have to say the burgers were good. One suggestion is to make the burgers into 8 patties for easier consumption and cut down on the blue cheese gravy, there was a whole lot of it left.

Side Dish: Un-Fried French Fries Baked fries are baked fries. They did not crisp up as said on the recipe but that could be a matter of time, maybe I was a bit anxious. But they were fine.

Dessert: Banana Split Ice Cream Sandwiches The cookies are very reminiscent of waffle cones and I love waffle cones!

Wine: Stone Hill Winery 2004 Norton

  1. We don’t photograph ALL the food. Just the stuff that looks ridiculously elaborate on the table.

And the fries were delicious in the bleu cheese gravy.
