Supper Club: August 13, 2008

In honor of peach-picking, we thought to incorporate some of it in our dishes this week (we would have had peaches in all the dishes, but it would have been overkill).

Appetizer: Cheese and Fruit Kabobs. So easy. Who doesn’t love cheese and fruit?

Entree: Garlic-Rubbed Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce. This was a very nice dish, don’t be afraid of the chimichurri sauce, it becomes more mellow when you add it to the steak.

Side Dish: Grilled Peaches, Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Over Arugula. Because Monika is a loser and does not like goat cheese, Kim replaced it with feta cheese but it was still good so Monika, I won’t hold it against you.

Dessert: California Peach Pie – An Ostrowski family recipe that is perfect for summer.
