Supper Club: April 1, 2009

Appetizer: Bacon, Cheese and Tomato Crescents. Super easy to make and super tasty. You could even just use the cream cheese mixture as a dip for crackers. And being an honest person, I must credit Kate for her beautiful, perfectly rolled crescent roll (it’s the one on the left). Yeah, I’ll claim the one on the right. Sigh.

Entree: Herbed Chicken with Spring Vegetables. Another easy dish to create and the vegetables just remind you of Spring. The chicken was great but I would have to say that my favorite part were the vegetables.

Side Dish: Greek-style Lemon Potatoes. An interesting twist on a potato casserole. I would not have thought to put lemons and feta cheese on potatoes but it worked well together.

Dessert: Daifuku. This dessert is not for the faint of heart. What I mean by this is that if you are freaked out by textures and wild flavors, this is not a dessert for you. But, since I’m Asian, I’ve had this before and I love it. My favorite one was the one with green tea ice cream (since I’m a fan of green tea). But kudos for the rest of the Supper Club to try it. You guys are not afraid of new things, you may not like it, but at least you tried it!
