While last year’s Brewfest was a wet and muddy mess, this year’s event could not have asked for better weather. It was sunny and breezy, just the right temperature. A perfect night for drinking beer.
We got there early and snagged a table in a great location, between the food and beer tents and away from the band (no knock on the band, they were passable, just easier to talk), then myself, Andrew, Brandon, Sarah, and Kate headed off in search of potent potables. Fortunately, there were many to be found. This year we started in the lager tent and worked our way towards the ales. That was a good plan, but a lot of the fruity and weird beers that you can only get at the festivals were gone by the time we made it over there.
In between all the drinking, we took time to hit up the food tent for some tasty pulled pork sandwiches. Andrew scored a big ass pretzel:
